ECO-WEEK

Hi Year 5

Eco-Week update!

No paper day on Tuesday
J5 and J6 need to bring in a bag of leaves/ ferns/ petals/ flowers/ old pieces of fabric/ anything else that is flat and isn't paper based to school on Monday. (J5 will be doing this activity on Tuesday but J6 will be doing it on Monday)
We will be creating our own individual flat collages based on biodiversity to later laminate and display around our nature garden.

Fashion Show
On Friday we are having a fashion show where you can strut your stuff on the cat walk! Everyone in the school is participating. Please base your costume on something related to biodiversity - e.g. minibeasts, animals, plants, trees, food chains, life cycles, habitats, marine lifeflowers......anything based on nature. Perhaps you could start with an old piece of cardboard/ old clothes/ bin bags and add a few designs to them/ sew some things on to them? If you don't have time to make the costume, bring some things to school and we will have time on Wednesday afternoon to help you.
