Yesterday we had a visit from Jordan, youth leader of R.C.T Urdd. He told us about the history of the Urdd movement and talked about the activities available to us in Llangranog. Look at the site below.

Simile Poem: Hallowe'en

Yesterday we worked on similes. We thought of some Hallowe'en nouns, and then used  them as similes to write a Hallowe'en poem.

Drumming:St David's Hall

We had a wonderful trip today to St David's Hall in Cardiff to watch Grammy Award winner, Colin Currie play percussion. Unbelievably, and luckily for us, we were the ONLY school there. We were moved to front row seats and took part in a percussion workshop. Lots of us got on to the stage to work with an artist who has performed with the London Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestras.
