Expalnation Texts: Looking at Features
Today we began our work on explanation texts. We have to learn the features of explanation texts before we can write one ourselves. We talked about the features and then looked at an example of explanatory writing. Using a key, we colour coded the main features. We will be working on these features during the next week......especially the use of present tense and technological vocabulary.
