Geography - Mind Mapping Snowdonia

J5 and J6 watched an interesting Geography DVD on Snowdonia on Friday morning. They learnt about factors that change the landscape, the affect of tourism in Snowdonia and important safety requirements when climbing Mount Snowdon. The DVD, combined with Internet research on National Parks provided the children with plenty of facts about Snowdonia, a good starting point for this half term's topic. On Friday afternoon, J5 created a mindmap of Snowdonia and were encouraged to work together in groups to find as many facts as possible from this week's work. Great thinking skills demonstrated.
