Hello Year 5 - things to remember!
FOOD DIARY
J5 have been told about this today and Mr Llewellyn will explain to his class tomorrow.
We would like you to keep a food diary for the week - J5 start today (Monday) and finish on Sunday. Be honest and put down everything that you eat. We are doing this as part of our "Let's investigate..." topic and in science we are investigating how to be healthy - looking at both food and exercise. When you bring your sheet back to school on Monday, we will be colour coding it according to the various food groups.
RUGBY
Rugby festival tomorrow - you need to be in school at 8.30am
SWIMMING
Bring your swimming kits on Thursday as we are going to the leisure centre to do our swim offs for the school gala
FAMILY TREE
We haven't forgotten about the family trees, so if you haven't brought yours to school (J5) then please do so. We will be looking at them this term.
NEWS FROM TODAY
Well done to the orchestra, you performed well on your outing to Pontypridd Muni Arts Centre today.
GEOGRAPHY THROUGH MATHS
We were applying our maths skills to help us investigate the parking issues around the school today. Plenty of thinking skills were needed for this challenge.....more details tomorrow.
SPELLINGS
Spelling test will be this Friday - un, im, en, in words. Mr Llewellyn will put them on here tomorrow for those of you who don't have them.
