Welsh in Y5

At the end of Y6 all children in Wales must be given a level in Welsh. In Y5 every child has a Welsh 'place mat' to help with their reading and improve their spoken Welsh. When they have completed their work the children are asked to find a partner and work through the sentences on their 'place mats'.
