Science: Investigating Temperature

Today we investigated the way in which the temperature of a beaker of water changes when ice is placed in the beaker.  For this we needed a beaker, some water, ice and a thermometer. The water began at room temperature. We then placed two ice cubes in our beaker. We recorded the temperature of the water every 10mins. We noticed that the temperature of the water went down at our first reading, but then slowly increased. We will complete the investigation tomorrow. Remember to think of a way in which we can display our results.
