As the Paralympics are still on, we have decided to dedicate this week to all of the superb athletes competing. We talked about methods of communication, and how we would cope if we were deaf or blind. We then took part in several activities in the yard that deprived us of either sight, speech or hearing. It was more difficult than we thought. After taking part in these activities, we then watched part of the life story of Hellen Keller, a deaf, blind girl who overcame her problems. We will watch the conclusion of her story tomorrow.
