Changing State - Solids, Liquids and Gases

Today in year 5 we looked had a science morning. Firstly look atthe following website to model what happens when we change the state of certain materials ICT skills: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks2bitesize/science/materials/solids_liquids/play.shtml










We then worked in groups to tried to match definitions to key vocabulary communication skills E.g.Evaporating, Condensation etc: We used our thinking skills to rank how confident we were in our predictions. Green = confident, orange= fairly confident, red=not sure.















We used ICT to present our findings.



Finally we went to the hall to play the solids, liquids and gases game: can you work out which is which?
