CROSS-CURRICULAR MATHS - MOUNTAIN HEIGHTS AND DATES OF EXPEDITIONS TO THE WORLD'S HIGHEST MOUNTAINS

It's second lesson already - 11.35am!

What are J5 learning?

They are about to tell you......

Alex - this morning we've been linking maths to geography!!!

Menna- Yes Alex, we have been doing a graph showing how high mountains around the world are and rounding them up to the nearest 100.

Ben D - That was the easy part, now we have got to look at a sheet with famous explorers and work out who climbed what mountains and when and order them according to the earliest date

Elliott - yes and we have to add up all the mountain heights but we are lucky because we got caculators .

Better get back to work J5!
