PRACTICAL GEOGRAPHY - CREATING SNOWDONIA

J5 have been busy creating 3D designs of Snowdonia this afternoon for geography. We will be finishing them off in the morning and the children will then be presenting a two minute speech on one aspect of Snowdonia -tourism, safety and weather, changes to the landscape, role of the National Trust and the Countryside Council, environmental/physical features, visitors and outdoor activities available.

Have a look through the websites below if you a have chance this evening, as you may need to add some more labels to your 3D designs in the mornings. Look for village names, names of lakes, footpaths etc... Try to use some geographical vocabulary too please. If you can find 5 facts/ place names/ information about distances/ centres/ monuments etc..... your group will have plenty of information for tomorrow morning. You may even find information about the number of tourists/ activities on offer, anything that will add to your design.

Remember that this Friday's spelling test is based on key vocabulary relating to our topic of Snowdonia National Park.
Good Luck - I'm looking forward to seeing your final designs!
