Steve Backshall Visits The Juniors

Today, year 5 and the whole of the Juniors had a fantastic surprise when Steve Blackshaw from CBBC's "Deadly 60" came to school. He spoke about the animals that he has come into contact with, and they types of animals that we can find in the UK.

He then stayed for a question and answer session about animals. Fortunately he has spent a lot of time in Snowdonia and is in fact on our DVD about Snowdonia that we use in school. He gave year 5 a little extra time at the end to speak of the types of animals that can be found in Snowdonia, what the weather is like there and what plants could be found there. Thank you Steve all the children had a fantastic time.

If you want to see Steve and his deadly 60 team they will be at Cwmbran Shopping Centre this Sunday between 10-4pm.
