Science in Year 5

Lately J5 and J6 have been doing a great deal of practical science. J5 have been investigating gases and J6 have been investigating the solar system.

How much air is in the gaps between these marbles?

This week J6 have been investigating the movement of planets orbiting the sun.

Here we have mars orbiting the sun with with it's two moons orbiting itself.

The outer planets had a long walk to orbit the sun.

The sun is the largest object in the solar system, it is the centre of the solar system and all the planets orbit it.
