On Wednesday Y5 began to make their drawstring bags.  I haven't seen such concentration!

This week we begin the practical part of our D.T. Topic...'Cleaning Up The Game'. Every child has been asked to bring in an old T-shirt, or other piece of material. Please remember to bring these in tomorrow!!!! Today we thought about the designs for our bags and began to fill in a flow chart of instructions that we must follow. Wish us luck....no puncture wounds please!

J6 An Afternoon With CCFC

As J7 went on a trip this morning, J6 were entertained by CCFC this afternoon. There was a bit of work to be done in our books followed by a session of football in the hall.

J7 Are Down In The Dumps!!!!!

Today J7 were down in the dumps...quite literally! We visited Bryn Pica Landfill Site. Yes, I have recycled that joke numerous times today...BOOM BOOM!
We watched some videos about recycling and took a safari around the site. I suggest J6 take nose pegs on their visit next week. After our trip to the site we had a game of football while the girls had their tour. I'm sorry that I only have photos of the boys, but they were my group for the morning.
