Food Packaging

Hi Year 5, don't forget to bring in all of your CLEAN food packaging tomorrow for our science lesson.

My class need to bring in their completed food diaries too.

Food glorious food

On Friday we celebrated being back in school by making a delicious Victorian meal - Gruel. We watched the film Oliver and investigated how to make gruel before making and tasting the lovely meal.

The recipe we found involved boiling water, adding salt..

Adding oats and cornflour...

And stirring for a while. On Monday we will be writing gruel poems. We will post some on the blog for you to read.

This morning in year 5 we have been developing our maths skills using ICT. We played the following maths game and had some incredible scores. Have a go and see if you can get 20 questions correct quicker than:
